Gez Reilly was forced into giving a number of the under 16 squad a game against Bisley Sports due to the withdrawal of some of the regular players at the last minute. These lads did not let the Woods down in any manner, and their performances auger well for the future.

The first half was evenly contested, and on 20 minutes Romane Walker was unlucky when his shot rebounded back off the post Ten minutes later a good effort by Chris Michaels was well saved by the visiting goalie.

Unfortunately for Northwood, a mix-up in defence allowed Ross Adamson to race in on goal and beat the advancing Ross Thompson to give Bisley a half time lead.

Within two minutes of the restart Ross Thompson was called upon to make a great save with his feet to stop Bisley increasing their lead.

Some excellent passing from the young Woods led to the equaliser four minutes later, when superb one-touch passing between Emile Price, Ollie Wright and Romane Walker led to the latter scoring.

This goal gave the Woods a lot of confidence, and their pass and movement was superb for the rest of the game.

Three more goals arrived, the first on 70 minutes when Kevin Lima chased down a long ball, and the keeper, under pressure, kicked it to Ollie Wright, who lobbed into the net from 20 yards.

In the 77th minute Romane Walker headed on to Kevin Lima, to make it 3- 1, then a cheeky back-heel from Romane into the path of Emile Price gave him an easy shot for a 4-1 lead five minutes from time.

There was still time for a brilliant clearance off the line by captain Jamie Tompkins in injury time to foil Bisley. All the players had an excellent game and all deserve to be man of the match.
